The Palace of the Grand Master is the most wonderful setting for the exhibition, brought to us by the Akikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, “Nelson and his Times”.

Items from the Maritime Collection of the Foundation reconstruct the way of living aboard a sailing ship of the late 18th-early 19th century, an era marked by the Napoleonic Wars. The personality and actions of Lord Admiral Nelson, who played a key role during the hostilities that shook Europe, is portrayed through a series of letters, personal objects and newspapers of the era.

An extremely interesting exhibition that is held in four rooms of the Palace that have opened their doors to the public for the first time and make a most sensational backdrop for all of the precious items on display.

The exhibition is open to the public every day including weekends, until 30 October 2016.
